A Strong Affiliation with Rich History
We are affiliated with Mon Health System, the area’s premier community–based healthcare provider for more than 70 years. The idea for developing a top–tier retirement community in the region was presented at the Greater Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce Vision 2000 initiative in 1993. A committee of local citizens brought the concept to life and secured a site and a developer. In November 1997, the Mon Health System stepped forward to sponsor the project. The Village at Heritage Point opened its doors in July 1999, followed by The Suites at Heritage Point in September of that year. Today, The Village at Heritage Point is a thriving community where residents' individuality is respected, and employees and visitors are sincerely welcomed.
