Leadership Team

Thank you for taking a moment to get to know our leadership team, which enjoys more than 70 years of combined service to the residents, families and staff of The Village at Heritage Point.

Each team member welcomes countless opportunities each day to make a difference in the lives of those who live and work here. They are proud of our community, the memories they hold dear and the future they are creating together.


Wilma Sternthal, RN, BSN, CDPWilma Sternthal, MSN, RN, BSN, CDP
Executive Director 

Wilma has been with The Village at Heritage Point since 2002. Wilma's educational experience includes a Master of Science in Nursing Administration & Leadership from California University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairmont State University. She has achieved several certifications throughout her career, including a Legal Nurse Consultant, Nationally Certified Assisted Living Administrator, and Nationally Certified Dementia Practitioner. Prior to coming to The Village at Heritage Point, Wilma was the director of an assisted living facility that included a specialized dementia unit. Her nursing experience included a variety of specialties, including many years in critical care.

Wilma has successfully completed the LeadingAge Leadership Academy. LeadingAge is an association comprised of more than 6,000 non-profit aging-services organizations focused on advocacy, education and applied research. The Leadership Academy is a yearlong program designed to strengthen leadership skills and core competencies of aging-services professionals.

Wilma says that being given an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of residents and their families is the most rewarding part of her position. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on any warm beach, reading, walking, and watching various sports. Wilma also enjoys spending time with her husband, their children and their wonderful spouses, and their grandchildren.


Chef Nader TehraniChef Nader Tehrani
Director of Dining Services 

Chef Nader brought his culinary talents to The Village in July 2007. He is a native of Iran who immigrated to the United States in 1979 to attend WVU. While in school, he worked at local restaurants, eventually securing a position at Lakeview Resort. Chef Nader worked his way up to Executive Chef at Lakeview, where he remained until 1998. From 1998 until 2007, he served as the Executive Chef and Director of Food Services at The Pines Country Club.

Chef Nader enjoys every day of his job here because he gets the opportunity to talk to residents and receive their feedback. He finds this job gratifying because he gets to do what he loves and the residents appreciate it and let him know if things do not meet their expectations. He feels fortunate to be capable of doing something that gives him a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment.

In his spare time, Chef Nader tries to keep fit by walking, playing racquetball and spending time outdoors kayaking or bicycling. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, his son and his daughter.


Jeanette Lancaster Jeanette Lancaster
Director of Sales

Jeanette began her current role in 2022 after working as the Executive Director of Mon Health Equipment & Supplies, now Mon Health-DASCO HME, for 25 years. Jeanette is a Morgantown native and graduated from Morgantown High School before receiving her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Fairmont State University. Upon graduation, Jeanette started her career with Mon Health Equipment & Supplies as a Customer Service Representative and later held roles as Office Manager, Director of Operations, and Executive Director before assuming her role at The Village at Heritage Point.

Jeanette loves spending time with her family and recently became a grandma for the first time. She has one daughter, three bonus children, and a pet pig named Daisy. She also loves to deer hunt and cheer on the Mountaineers!


Cindy Horner, RN Cindy Horner, MSN, RN, CDP
Director of Nursing

In 2015, Cindy took her current role at The Suites at Heritage Point. She loves the daily interactions she has with the residents and their families. Cindy received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Fairmont State College in 1983, returned to Fairmont State University as a full-time student in 2015 and completed her BSN in May of 2017. She chose to continue her education and will graduate with an MSN in December of 2019. Cindy is a Nationally Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Prior to joining The Village at Heritage Point team, Cindy was the office manager, registered nurse and intake coordinator for Reliable Healthcare Solutions in Morgantown. She helped to launch The Village Reliable Concierge Service in 2014 where Village and Suites residents may arrange for assistance with certain daily activities such as doing laundry, showering or cleaning up after their pets.

Cindy and her husband enjoy travelling, spending time with their children and especially their granddaughter, Roan, who is the joy of their existence.


Mark WebsterMark Webster
Director of Environmental Services

Mark Webster is an invaluable asset to our team here at The Village, starting in 2016. Raised in Morgantown, Mark worked as the Director of Maintenance for the Middletown Mall in Fairmont for 20 years. He has a certificate in plumbing and loves to work in carpentry and trim work.

As an outdoorsman, Mark enjoys many hobbies such as freshwater fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and hunting.

Mark has been married for over 35 years, has three lovely children and four wonderful grandchildren.




 
Sandy Cobun-Green photoSandy Cobun-Greene, RN, BSN
Resident Wellness Coordinator

Sandy has been a nurse since graduating from WVU School of Nursing in 1980. She worked at WVU Hospital for 16 years in adult critical care. Then, she took five years off to be a stay at home mom for her (and her husband, Doug’s) two children, Kristin and Evan. Sandy’s first day back to work as an IV infusion nurse for Dr. Houston was the day her son started kindergarten. Since then, she has worked in various positions at Mon Health Systems, Health South, as well as WVUCPRC (drug research) formerly known as Kendle.

Since 2015, Sandy has been the part-time Faith Community Nurse for Suncrest United Methodist Church. Sandy has worked as the Resident Wellness Coordinator at The Village at Heritage Point since 2018.
