Situated near the Pennsylvania and Maryland borders in north central West Virginia, The Village at Heritage Point is ideally located for maximum enjoyment of Morgantown’s dining, entertainment and educational options, as well as our state’s unspoiled natural beauty.
 
Opportunities for learning abound. With West Virginia University nearby, residents of The Village have their pick of cultural events, classes for personal enrichment and lectures. The university’s Creative Arts Center, museums and arboretum all welcome visitors. A rich sense of culture, history and various ethnic traditions exists throughout the county, as well, and is celebrated through food, festivals and historic preservation.
 
For the more athletic-minded, nearby Lakeview Resort boasts one of the nation’s top-rated public golf courses. Morgantown’s convenient Caperton or Decker’s Creek walking trails offers miles of paved surfaces for walks and bike rides. Coopers Rock, West Virginia’s largest state forest, is just a short drive and is famous for its breathtaking 1,200 foot overlook of Cheat Canyon.
